In Ottoman times, hammams were the supreme destination of total body restoration, a place where guests could treat themselves head-to-toe. The Total Reset at Zeyrek Çinili Hamam is the ultimate indulging and luxury bathing experience, with the authentic ritual enhanced by a full-body foam massage, de-stressing foot rub, and a face mask.

The ritual begins with warm marble therapy, traditionally known as göbektaşı, where the guests are welcomed to relax under the majestic dome. This custom prepares and softens the skin and helps calm the mind. The hammam therapists (natir for women and tellak for men) care for each guest individually, gently scrubbing the skin with a single-use exfoliating glove, kese. The guests are then invited to a private hot chamber (known as halvet) where they receive an extended full-body foam massage with traditional pure hammam soap, on a custom marble bed. This is a one-of-a-kind massage experience that cleanses and relaxes the body simultaneously. The therapists then wash the guests' hair, making one feel cleansed and relaxed from head to toe. A 25-minute de-stressing foot and lower leg massage helps skillfully and intentionally relieve tension, boost circulation, and alleviate fatigue.

DURING THE RITUAL
At Zeyrek Çinili Hamam, which honors traditional hammam rituals, female therapists (natır) serve women in the women’s section, while male therapists (tellak) attend to men in the men’s section.
